Retro parade in Bansko

For another year, Bansko is hosting the “Retro Parade” organized by the Pirin Retro Club. Trinity Residence Hotel is hosting this extremely interesting car show. The parade will take place on May 15, 2021. The preliminary program of the event is already known:

10:00 – 12:30 – Macedonia Square, Blagoevgrad

13:00 – 14:30 – September Square, Simitli

15:00 – 17:00 – Nikola Vaptsarov Square, Bansko

The organizer of the Retro Parade is the Pirin Retro Club. Motorcycle and motorcycle retro club “Pirin” – Blagoevgrad is an organization that aims to preserve, preserve and repair retro and classic cars and motorcycles without limiting the models and brands. The first attempt to organize a retro parade was made in 1996, but for a number of reasons, it did not take place this year.

The first meeting of RETRO CLUB “PIRIN” is on 24.05.2002 on the occasion of the Day of Slavic Literature and Culture, which aims to attract even more enthusiasts among the audience.

The first participation of Retro Club Pirin in a national event took place on July 6, 2002, organized by BAC “Retro” – an annual car walk “Sofia – Rila Monastery”.

On May 24, 2004, another retro exhibition was organized in the center of Blagoevgrad, despite the rainy weather, motorcycles also participated. On 10.07 and 11.07.2004 also organized an event by BAK “Retro” and RETRO CLUB “PIRIN”. The first day included a parade and an exhibition, and the second day a timed race to the Rila Monastery.

There have been other events over the years. For the future, PERIN RETRO CLUB has set a goal: to establish visits to other settlements and tourist areas in the country in its program.
